Marketbridge is seeking a Director, Media Strategy to lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies for enterprise B2B clients. Working alongside a team of talented media professionals, and leading the charge on strategy media strategies with cross-functional partners, you will help build best-in-class, brand-to-demand campaigns that deliver measurable business results.Â

What You’ll Be DoingÂ
The Director, Media Strategy will be responsible for developing and overseeing B2B media strategies across a portfolio of client accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of B2B media channels, vendors, platforms, and emerging trends, along with the ability to translate client objectives into actionable media plans.Â
You will serve as a strategic media lead for clients, guide planning and activation teams, and collaborate closely with account management, demand strategy, creative, analytics, and channel specialists to deliver integrated and effective campaigns.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Media Strategy and PlanningÂ
Develop comprehensive B2B media strategies that align with client marketing objectives, target audiences, and business goalsÂ
Translate broader marketing and demand-generation strategies into actionable, full-funnel media plansÂ
Identify and evaluate media opportunities across programmatic, paid social, SEM, trade publications, outdoor, traditional media, and other relevant channelsÂ
Provide strategic direction throughout campaign planning, activation, optimization, and reportingÂ
Ensure media plans are appropriately structured, measurable, and optimized to deliver against agreed-upon objectivesÂ
Campaign Execution and OptimizationÂ
Partner with channel specialists and activation teams to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and in alignment with the approved strategyÂ
Support in-platform campaign management and optimization when requiredÂ
Review campaign performance and use data and insights to identify optimization opportunitiesÂ
Help establish campaign measurement frameworks, key performance indicators, and reporting approachesÂ
Ensure learnings and performance insights are incorporated into future planning and recommendationsÂ
Client PartnershipÂ
Serve as a trusted media advisor to clients, providing clear, informed, and actionable recommendationsÂ
Lead or support client conversations related to media strategy, planning, campaign performance, and optimizationÂ
Present media plans, results, insights, and recommendations with clarity and confidenceÂ
Build a strong understanding of each client’s business, industry, audiences, and competitive landscapeÂ
Identify opportunities to expand or strengthen the agency’s media offering within existing client relationshipsÂ
Vendor and Budget ManagementÂ
Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B media vendors and platform partnersÂ
Evaluate vendor capabilities, opportunities, and recommendations to ensure they align with client needsÂ
Support media negotiations and work to secure appropriate rates, placements, and added valueÂ
Oversee media budgets and ensure investments are allocated and managed responsiblyÂ
Maintain awareness of new media partners, platforms, tools, and opportunities relevant to B2B audiencesÂ
Team Leadership and CollaborationÂ
Provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to media team membersÂ
Review media plans and recommendations to ensure strategic quality, accuracy, and alignmentÂ
Support the professional development and growth of junior and mid-level team membersÂ
Foster strong collaboration across media, account management, demand strategy, creative, analytics, and other internal teamsÂ
Contribute to the continued evolution of Marketbridge’s media processes, tools, capabilities, and best practicesÂ
QualificationsÂ
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plusÂ
8+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, and buying, preferably within an agency environmentÂ
Strong experience developing and executing media strategies for B2B clientsÂ
Demonstrated knowledge of B2B media channels, including programmatic, paid social, SEM, and trade publicationsÂ
Experience working with The Trade Desk, DV360, or comparable programmatic platformsÂ
Experience managing substantial media budgets and working with media vendors and platform partnersÂ
Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting media performance data and reportingÂ
Experience leading client presentations and providing strategic media recommendationsÂ
Previous experience mentoring, managing, or providing direction to media professionalsÂ
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skillsÂ
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and quickly shifting priorities in a fast-paced agency environmentÂ
A collaborative mindset and the ability to bring forward new ideas, challenge existing approaches, and work effectively across teamsÂ

We aim to offer competitive and equitable compensation based on factors such as location, relevant experience, skills, and market benchmarks. The anticipated salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000.

Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications, and additional flexibility may be considered for candidates whose experience and expertise significantly exceed the role’s core requirements.
