Location: Omni Parker House | Boston, MA
Â
The Parker House Experience
The Omni Parker House is one of Boston's most iconic hotels, with a history dating back to 1855 and a bold new chapter following a $65 million renovation. This is an opportunity to sell more than a hotel; you'll be representing a landmark with a distinctive story, a premier downtown location, and a renewed vision for the future.
Â
We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of that story and has the relationships, creativity, commercial mindset, and drive to make an impact.
Â
The Opportunity
The Director of National Accounts is a high-impact sales leader responsible for growing revenue and strengthening relationships with key national and large-market accounts for the iconic Omni Parker House.
This is a relationship-driven, strategic sales role for someone who thrives on the pursuit of new business, knows how to turn relationships into revenue, and can see the bigger picture beyond a single booking. You’ll build and execute account strategies, cultivate long-term partnerships, identify opportunities within existing accounts, and position Omni Parker House as a preferred destination for corporate, group, meetings, events, and high-value business.
Â
Working closely with Sales, Catering, Conference Services, Reservations, Revenue Management, and Marketing, you’ll bring opportunities to life from the initial prospecting conversation through contract negotiation and execution.
Â
The goal is simple: grow the business, grow the accounts, and make Parker House the hotel of choice for our most valuable customers.
Â
What You'll Do
Drive Revenue & New Business
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on growing national and large-market accounts and maximizing hotel revenue.
- Proactively prospect, identify, and convert new business opportunities across rooms, meetings, food & beverage, events, and other hotel services.
- Build account strategies that uncover opportunities for increased market share, repeat business, and long-term partnership.
- Own and exceed individual revenue, production, prospecting, and account-development goals.
- Identify opportunities to capitalize on events, market trends, and emerging business segments.
- Partner with Revenue Management and Sales leadership to strategically position rates, availability, and value propositions.
- Collaborate closely with the Omni Global Sales Organization (GSO) team to identify, pursue, and secure business, leveraging shared account intelligence and relationships
Build & Elevate Client Relationships     Â
- Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, meeting planners, corporate partners, and industry influencers.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to accounts—understanding their business, anticipating their needs, and creating solutions that deliver value.
- Maintain consistent, meaningful communication with key accounts and actively pursue opportunities to expand the relationship.
- Conduct client appointments, presentations, site visits, entertainment, and account reviews that strengthen partnerships and drive production.
- Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to each client's objectives, budget, and business needs.
Own the Sales Process
- Lead opportunities from prospecting through negotiation, contracting, and turnover to the appropriate hotel teams.
- Negotiate and review contracts in accordance with hotel policies, pricing strategies, and profitability guidelines.
- Collaborate with Catering, Conference Services, Reservations, Revenue Management, and Operations to ensure a seamless transition from sale to execution.
- Ensure all details, commitments, and expectations are clearly communicated and documented throughout the sales process.
Represent Parker House in the Market
- Serve as a visible ambassador for the Omni Parker House and its unique position as one of Boston's most iconic hotels.
- Build visibility and influence through active participation in industry organizations, trade shows, networking events, client events, and community partnerships. (Travel required)

Be a Strategic Partner to the Hotel
- Participate in sales strategy, forecasting, account reviews, and business planning.
- Analyze account performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for growth.
- Partner with hotel leadership to develop creative strategies that drive revenue during need periods and maximize peak demand.
- Manage sales and marketing resources responsibly and contribute to achieving departmental budget goals.
- Participate in daily and weekly sales strategy discussions regarding occupancy, pace, forecasts, future availability, and business opportunities.
- Take ownership of special projects and initiatives that support the hotel's overall commercial strategy.
