Position Summary The Elevator Technician ensures the safety, reliability, and compliance of elevators, escalators, and lifts within the assigned region. This role provides technical oversight, conducts inspections, and supports maintenance and modernization efforts in alignment with national codes and GSA requirements. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with ASME A17.1 and related standards Provide technical guidance on vertical transportation systems Review maintenance, inspection, and condition reports Support repairs, modernization, and new installations Maintain asset inventories and performance data Analyze system performance and recommend improvements Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders Serve as liaison for maintenance and repair activities Travel required: As needed (out of state)   QualificationsQualifications QEI Certification (required) Strong knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and related safety codes Experience reviewing technical documentation and inspection data Strong analytical and communication skills U.S. Citizenship Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field 5–10 years of experience in vertical transportation systems Why Choose MIRACORP?
