Job description:

A well-established, employee-owned professional services firm is seeking a seasoned HR Generalist II to support a dynamic and growing Boston office. This role is a key member of the HR team, partnering closely with leadership to drive recruiting efforts, maintain compliance, and ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting, including intake meetings with hiring managers, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and managing offers
  • Partner with department leaders to understand hiring needs and build effective recruiting strategies
  • Track and maintain compliance across mandatory training, certifications, licensure, and employee records
  • Oversee immigration tracking and documentation, partnering with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure timely filings and compliance
  • Manage employee credentialing and badging requirements for client projects
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and best practices
  • Support the execution of core HR programs including onboarding, employee relations, and performance management processes
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems and ensure accuracy of employee data and reporting
  • Stay current on employment laws, regulatory changes, and HR best practices to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

  • 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist capacity
  • Strong experience with full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to immigration processes and compliance tracking preferred
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, employee-focused approach
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now or similar preferred)

Details:

  • Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid: 4 days onsite, half-day remote Fridays)
