We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, and experienced Inventory Specialist in Boston!

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory movement and records. 
  • Ensure efficient inventory management procedures.
  • Responsible for performing regular cycle counts, full inventory audits, and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure optimal stock levels and minimal loss or shrinkage.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments with internal warehouse/logistics & external customers/vendors.
  • Assist with receiving, labeling, putting away, and distributing inventory and ensure proper product labeling. 
  • Promote culture of safety and follow all safety and compliance protocols.
  • Coordinate ongoing training for the team members.

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of culinary terms, procedures, and practices.
  • Flexible and self-motivated with strong leadership skills to manage a team.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse group of people across multiple departments.
  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and general food safety standards knowledge is required
  • Experienced professional with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume food service or food manufacturing production with experience or exposure to leadership roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree is hospitality, hotel management or any related field preferred. 
  • Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
