Sheehan Phinney is hiring a Legal Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to support our Boston, MA location. Are you a top-notch legal assistant who enjoys wearing many hats and is always on top of their game? In addition to providing a high caliber of legal assistant expertise this role requires a savvy, service-oriented, polished professional who will also be the Boston office Receptionist. Must enjoy performing a wide variety of responsibilities including office administration, receptionist tasks and all of the details that make an office run seamlessly. Additional responsibilities include greeting/routing callers and visitors, scheduling and maintaining appointments and meetings (and ensuring deadlines are met), answering questions and addressing issues, processing cold calls, and following internal policies and intake procedures, preparing/revising and scanning documents such as correspondence, pleadings, forms and agency filings. Prepares for and assists with court or administrative hearings, meetings, depositions, mediations and seminars. Meeting support (including food and beverage needs), keeping track of staff members' whereabouts and availability, mail, stocking/maintenance of supplies and equipment and some cleaning along with other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 or more years of legal assistant experience working in a professional office environment required. Strong typing skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite and document management software. Proven ability to operate with discretion and tact. Notary preferred. EEO


Schedule 

Monday through Friday forty hours per week with the ability to come in early and stay late from time to time.
