Job Description:

The Role

The individual will be part of a team that oversees the product development for the Securities Finance Principal business unit.  The team is responsible for creating and executing initiatives.

  • Partnering with the business unit and technology to design innovative solutions that help grow the business and promote a stable product

  • Developing/creating business requirements, including acting as a subject matter expert for technology during development lifecycle, performing user acceptance testing and supporting production releases

  • Supporting the trading desk in a fast-paced environment, including troubleshooting issues and acting as a liaison with technology/business partners

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a sense of urgency and ownership when addressing critical business matters

  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate and present complex requirements to a wide audience

  • Bachelor's degree required and minimum 3 years financial services experience preferred

  • Technical or Securities Finance background preferred

  • Working with large dataset a plus

  • Knowledge of SQL a plus

  • Presentation skills a plus

The Team

The team interacts will all aspects of the business including, but not limited to, Technology, Vendors, Trading, Operations, Legal, Risk and Compliance. The product development team works with all business partners to create new features and functionality to promote the growth/success of the business unit and Fidelity as a whole.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-120,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
