What You’ll Do Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations for Global, the Program Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and logistics for Berklee Global’s programs, events, and international partnerships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing event logistics, travel arrangements, program scheduling, and budget reconciliations across domestic and global initiatives.

  • Leading travel teams to partner locations worldwide, overseeing on-the-ground delivery of global programs, workshops and engagements.

  • Serving as a primary liaison for global partner inquiries, advising students on credit transfer processes, and supporting proposal processing.

  • Hiring, training, and supervising student assistants, temporary staff, consultants, and alumni artists while overseeing sub-contracted teams.

  • Maintaining departmental technology, databases, and reporting systems to ensure seamless operations.
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 2 to 4 years of experience in higher education or performing arts management.

  • Musicianship & Skills: Active performing musician with formal musical training. Multilingual abilities are preferred.

  • Global Expertise: Deep knowledge of domestic and international travel planning, and cross-cultural engagement.

  • Operational Drive: Strong financial acumen, budget tracking skills, and proficiency with database and office software systems.

  • Flexibility: Comfortable working on campus, with regular global travel (ranging up to two weeks monthly) and occasional evening/weekend hours.
