About the role
Reporting to the Chief People Officer in this on-site role, this individual is responsible for ensuring that Zevra Therapeutics corporate office day-to-day operations run smoothly. He/she will serve as a first point of contact for general office coordination and operational needs and play a key role in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
What you'll do
- Office Administration: Manage inventory of office, food and kitchen supplies and related vendors. Ensure resources and supplies are stocked and available to all. Maintain organized shared spaces. Distribute mail and correspondence and organize files.
- Front Desk Reception: Serve as the first point of contact for employees and visitors including board members, vendors and candidates. Greet and welcome guests and provide courteous and professional assistance to ensure a positive office environment.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule internal meetings and trainings and assist in planning and executing team and Company events, including setup and post-event cleanup. Coordinate food and beverage orders for meetings. Assist with onboarding coordination for new employees, including workspace preparation and orientation.
- Administrative Support: Provide calendar management support, travel coordination and expense report assistance for managers. Work collaboratively with C-Suite executive assistant and provide support as needed.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree and 2+ years of experience in office administration, operations coordination, or HR administrative support roles.
- Professional, friendly, and customer-service oriented.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to comfortably interact with all levels of staff and visitors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain schedules effectively.
- Proactive in improving office procedures and supporting team productivity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
