Your Opportunity

The Product Sales Executive (PSE) is focused on selling surgical C-arms and associated imaging equipment and solutions to hospitals, clinics and diagnostic imaging centers. The PSE is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle, cultivating relationships with key decision-makers, and promoting the company’s surgery products portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a proven ability to close complex deals. The PSE will collaborate with internal teams to stay informed on product developments and ensure customer satisfaction throughout and beyond the sales process.


This role includes participating in customer meetings, product discussions, and demonstrations...sometimes within hospital surgical operating rooms and clinical environments, including presence during live surgical procedures. When in the OR, PSEs comply with all hospital, safety, infection control, and sterile field protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including surgical attire.

 

Hybrid work model: 10% in home office and 70% - 90% travel to customer sites. 


Potential Compensation: $55,000 - $150,000 annually


TRAVEL SITES: By car...all of Boston region including Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine.


Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, including post-sale relations.
  • Plan and execute from sales process to close, including on-site demos.
  • Work in partnership with full-line Account Executives to close the surgical imaging business.
  • Utilize resources and develop knowledge of surgery products through technical updates, product specialists, management assistance and clinical applications.
  • Achieve or exceed sales quotas.
  • Control individual costs associated with each sale.
  • Anticipate customer needs and promote all product lines and point-of-sale service contracts.
  • Provide reporting, communications and documentation related to sales
  • Improve market penetration of surgical mobile C-arms and urology equipment in assigned territory.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of field sales experience
  • Self-motivated, professional, and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
  • Ability to work in hospital surgical operating rooms and clinical environments, including presence during
    live surgical procedures
  • Ability to comply with all hospital, safety, infection control, and sterile field protocols
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including surgical attire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling capital equipment or medical devices
  • Operating room experience
  • Biomedical Engineering degree

Physical Demands 

  • Mobility: Ability to travel frequently, including driving to various locations. This involves walking through client sites.
  • Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting while driving, flying, or working at a desk in the home office.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, phones, and other office equipment. Handling sales materials and product samples.
  • Visual Acuity: Continuous use of vision to read documents and computer screens.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear and understand conversations over the phone and in-person. Effective listening skills for client interactions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for phone conversations and in-person visits.
  • Lifting: Occasionally lifting and carrying light to moderately heavy objects, such as product samples, promotional materials (typically up to 25 pounds).
