Job Summary

• Develop project scope with stakeholders and consultants.
• Manage multiple projects from small upgrades to major construction, including handling of small-scale work orders as part of regular project responsibilities.
• Collaborate with design teams to produce documents, budgets, and schedules (in Unifier).
• Communicate consistently with departments, Facilities, Finance, and other hospitals.
• Review bids, evaluate proposals, and manage construction activities.
• Monitoring budgets, schedules, and field issues.
• Conducts construction project audits.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed. Reviews shutdown requests and Infection Control permits.
• Prepare project summaries and budget reports.
• Handle document control and file updates across shared systems.
• Distribute reports and maintain project documentation.
• Must collaborate directly with Finance on bids, contracts, and payment tracking.
• Base drawings and data validation
• Creating and maintaining hospital standards/specifications
• Review estimates and quotes.
• Collaborate with Real Estate to determine contract needs.
• Coordinate vendor communication and contract routing for review/approval.
• Request and process purchase orders (POs) and change orders.
• Update project files in UNIFIER.
• Track and upload invoices in Smartsheet
• Schedule and coordinate vendor and internal construction meetings.
• Request and share monthly financial statements with Finance.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or Business with Construction Experience.

Experience
Experience as a Project Manager in hospital construction or healthcare facilities. 7-12+ years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of construction management software and project scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

- Knowledge of Life Safety Compliance, Interim Life Safety Measures, Infection Control, and Joint Commission is required.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
