Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA

Sunday - Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazards, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
