About 7AI
7AI is the foundational AI security company. Founded in 2024 by Cybereason co-founders Lior Div and Yonatan Striem-Amit, we came out of stealth in February 2025 to take on the non-human work of the SOC. Our platform pairs a federated SIEM with AI agents that detect, investigate, respond, and hunt, plus dedicated threat hunting and threat intelligence, with humans on the loop.
Backed by $166 million in total funding from investors including Index Ventures and Blackstone, we're building the AI foundation for security operations in the agentic era, and we're still early. That's the appeal: you'll join at a pivotal stage where your work shapes what 7AI becomes, alongside security veterans who've built this before. Our culture runs on respect, collaboration, and a shared bar for excellence, all pointed at one goal, delivering real outcomes for the customers who trust us to defend them.
Overview
Security teams won't trust an AI agent's call if they can't see how it got there, and most interfaces aren't built to make that reasoning visible. You'll design and build the user-facing components of our AI-native cloud platform, turning complex cybersecurity capabilities into interfaces people can actually use. A core part of the job is making AI decisions explainable: you'll help users understand how the system reached a conclusion, not just what it output. As a senior engineer, you'll shape our frontend architecture, mentor other engineers, and work closely with design and product.
What You'll Do
Architect and build performant web interfaces for our AI-native cloud platform.
Set frontend technical direction: choose the frameworks, libraries, and tools that keep the codebase scalable and maintainable.
Work with product, design, and backend teams to turn complex cybersecurity use cases into intuitive, user-centered experiences.
Define and uphold coding standards, testing practices, and frontend architecture.
Optimize performance across browsers and devices, and ensure accessibility and responsiveness.
Contribute to long-term engineering strategy.
Give technical feedback on UX designs and feature requirements.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, with a track record of building and scaling production-grade web applications.
Deep expertise in React (or similar frameworks such as Vue or Angular) and strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Strong experience with frontend architecture, APIs, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with cloud-based environments and integrating with backend APIs and services.
Comfortable working with AI coding tools such as Cursor.
Experience with UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Ability to make sound technical decisions in a fast-changing environment and communicate trade-offs clearly.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
A collaborative, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
