What You'll Do

Strategic alliances are a critical component of BCG's ability to deliver differentiated value to clients and accelerate growth through ecosystem partnerships. As the Google Global Strategic Alliances Manager, you will serve as a central operational and commercial leader responsible for executing BCG's global partnership with Google.

This role is responsible for driving the day-to-day execution of the alliance, ensuring opportunities progress efficiently from identification through funded and signed engagements while enabling teams to activate partnership opportunities within their own client portfolios. Acting as the connective tissue between BCG and Google, you will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, maintain commercial pipeline visibility, manage executive communications, and continuously improve partnership processes and reporting.

Success in this position requires exceptional program management, executive stakeholder management, commercial acumen, operational rigor, and the ability to manage a high-volume portfolio of strategic opportunities across multiple regions and business units.

Working closely with Global Alliance leadership, Practice Areas, client teams, Google counterparts, Finance, Marketing, and Operations, you will help maximize the commercial impact of one of BCG's most strategic technology partnerships while supporting the continued evolution of the Google Center of Excellence.

YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

  • Commercial Pipeline & Deal Lifecycle Management
    • Serve as the day-to-day operational lead for the Google partnership pipeline, managing opportunities from initial engagement through funded and signed deals.
    • Maintain an accurate global pipeline tracker, ensuring opportunity status, documentation, and reporting remains current across active opportunities.
    • Lead weekly pipeline review meetings across regions with BCG and Google stakeholders, including meeting preparation, agenda development, and follow-up actions.
    • Identify new partnership opportunities through CRM analysis, commercial reporting, and collaboration with account teams and Google counterparts.
    • Manage Google funding processes, providing guidance to client teams on funding requirements, qualification criteria, and approval processes.
    • Monitor partnership performance metrics, including influenced revenue and strategic partner attribution within Google's ecosystem.
  • Enablement & Partnership Activation
    • Partner with BCG account teams to identify, qualify, and activate commercial opportunities across their client portfolios.
    • Deliver one-on-one and small-group enablement sessions covering partnership offerings, funding programs, qualification criteria, and engagement models.
    • Develop and maintain enablement playbooks, training materials, and best-practice resources that increase adoption of the Google partnership.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and operational support to account teams as opportunities progress through the partnership lifecycle.
  • Strategic Planning & Executive Engagement
    • Lead preparation for executive steering committees, strategic planning sessions, and governance meetings.
    • Develop executive presentations, briefing documents, meeting materials, and communications for senior BCG and Google leadership.
    • Contribute to discussions regarding partnership priorities, target accounts, strategic campaigns, and commercial objectives.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
    • Continuously improve partnership operations through enhanced reporting, standardized processes, and scalable tools.
    • Develop and refine trackers, dashboards, templates, and AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
    • Establish and maintain consistent governance processes supporting opportunity management, reporting, and executive visibility.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline recurring activities while improving data quality, reporting accuracy, and stakeholder experience.

What You'll Bring

  • 6-10 years of work experience in management consulting, partner management, or business development - experience working for or with technology ecosystems, major cloud, and enterprise business application providers a plus
  • Experience operating within complex, highly matrixed organizations while managing multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Demonstrated success managing commercial pipelines, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional programs with executive visibility.
  • Strong understanding of business development, alliance management, and go-to-market motions within professional services or technology organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop executive-ready presentations, briefing materials, and strategic communications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using CRM systems, reporting tools, and operational dashboards.
