We areĀ seekingĀ a talented individual to join ourĀ HealthcareĀ InvestmentĀ teamĀ at Mercer, a MarshĀ company.Ā This roleĀ can be based inĀ New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, L.A., Seattle, Phoenix, Minneapolis,Ā and St. Louis.Ā Ā This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.Ā

This is a client-facing, Investment Consulting role that will work primarily with Mercer’sĀ HealthcareĀ clients, aĀ focusĀ growth investment practice.Ā

We will count on you to:Ā Ā 

Ā 

  • Work withĀ clients’ staff, investment committees, and boards to deliver a spectrum of investment advice and solutions.Ā 

  • Analyze markets, investment managers, portfolios, and investment performance.Ā 

  • Leverage yourĀ expertiseĀ to design,Ā develop,Ā deliver, andĀ communicateĀ investment solutions for clients.Ā 

  • Collaborate across internal teamsĀ onĀ investment strategy, portfolio management, research, marketing, sales, and consulting practice.Ā 

  • Mentor junior colleagues in their career development.Ā 

  • Source and cultivate relationships with prospective clients and engage with existing clients to grow the breadth of services we deliver to help them advance their missions.Ā

What you need to have:  

Ā 

  • A bachelor's degree preferably in a field relevant to this positionĀ 

  • CFA charterĀ and/or MBAĀ 

  • 10+Ā years of experience related to this positionĀ 

  • A proven history of excellent client serviceĀ 

  • Excellent presentationĀ skillsĀ 

  • ExperienceĀ presenting complex topics to clients with varying levels of sophistication, across both traditional and alternative investmentsĀ 

  • Self-motivation and proven ability to work well in a team environmentĀ 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environmentĀ 

  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skillsĀ 

  • Mastery of detail while understanding the bigger pictureĀ 

  • Eagerness to learn and keep up to date with the investment industry and market conditionsĀ 

  • Adaptability and decisivenessĀ 

  • Technical skills;Ā proficiencyĀ in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointĀ 

  • Ability and desire to manage, motivate, and mentor junior-level colleaguesĀ 

  • Preferred experience leading relationships with bothĀ multi-billion, multi-poolĀ healthĀ systemsĀ Ā

The applicable base salary range for this role is $162,000 to $324,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
