Job Summary
SummaryThe Research Specialist II will be responsible for library construction and overseeing the Elledge Lab strain collection and other items of lab organization. They will be involved in a project to develop vectors that will allow the transportation of mRNAs from a T cell into a host cell.

Will perform independent research requiring excellent application of professional judgment, interpretation of experimental results, innovation of new approaches, and preparation of research for presentation and publication

-Investigates, creates, and develops new methods and technologies for research advancement. <br>
-Improves job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications. <br>
-Develops proposals and study plans, and coordinates the institutional and external reviews of these proposals. <br>
-Supports staff to ensure the successful conduct of assigned clinical studies consistent with applicable regulations, guidelines, and policies. <br>
-Calculates, transcribes, and analyzes data using advanced statistical techniques. <br>
-Supports staff to ensure the successful conduct of assigned clinical studies consistent with applicable regulations, guidelines, and policies. <br>
-Investigates, creates, and develops new methods and technologies for project advancement. <br>
-Responsible for preparing summaries of laboratory studies for meeting presentations and publications. <br>
