What You Will DoÂ
- Utilize your experience to perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentationÂ
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lightingÂ
- Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for constructionÂ
- Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design conceptsÂ
- Effectively communicate design ideas by hand sketching and/or digital graphicsÂ
- Independently create material palettes and inspiration image boardsÂ
- Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricatorsÂ
- Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officialsÂ
- Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challengesÂ
- Produce in Revit accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of projectÂ
- Provide project team coordination for finished plans, specification, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentationÂ
- Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during constructionÂ
- Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesÂ
- Participate in the creation of 3D software renderings – enscape preferred - to communicate design concepts Â

Your QualificationsÂ
- Experience in the role described aboveÂ
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school
- 5+ years of post-grad interior design experienceÂ
- High resourcefulness of creative unique materials, furniture, and fixturesÂ
- Excellent color sense, and great passion for designÂ
- Excellent graphic design, organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Passionate, self-starting, dedicated, efficientÂ
- Enjoys both taking responsibility and team collaboration Â
- Passion for both big picture design ideas and the detailsÂ
- Facility with 3D conceptualization (digitally or by hand) a plusÂ
- Proficient in Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideasÂ
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required. -Portfolios should include at least 1 project with this particular focus, and candidates should be prepared to talk to this in their interview, especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certification.Â

**The base salary range will be estimated between $80,000 - $95,000. Gensler’s total compensation package is multi-layered and includes a base salary, two annual bonuses paid in December and June, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and profit sharing.
