POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The North American Institutional Investor Relations team seeks a highly motivated intern to assist in capital formation and investor/client service projects across the Private Markets platform (e.g. Global Private Equity, Global Special Situations, Venture Capital, Double Impact, Tech Opportunities and Life Sciences). This role will offer exposure to the breadth of Bain Capital Funds and strategic initiatives of a fast-growing firm. This individual will be involved in ad hoc projects not limited to, client database management, marketing material preparation and review, lead generation, and client distribution list maintenance. This individual will provide support and gain exposure to all functions within Investor Relation including business development, marketing, and client service.Ā The candidate will work closely with the current Associates on the team and receive mentorship and training from a senior partner on the team, who is a Gettysburg College alum.
QUALIFICATIONS:
⢠Rising senior with demonstrated academic achievement (3.5 GPA or better)
⢠Strong interpersonal skills and client service orientation
⢠Self-starter with strong project management capabilities
⢠Detail oriented, conscientious and energetic professional with ability to think creatively
⢠Capacity to discretely handle highly confidential and sensitive information
⢠Team player with a āCan doā attitude; willingness to take on any task, no matter how small
⢠Comfort with organizing and interpreting large amounts of data
⢠Excel and PowerPoint competency
Compensation:
Expected Hourly Rate of Pay $24.00 - $26.00 Ā
Actual hourly rate of pay will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location.
