About The Position
A hospital in Massachusetts is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position starting 10/13/2025. This 55-day assignment requires coverage for weekday shifts from 8 am to 5 pm. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with routine and complex care follow-up visits, bi-annual physicals, and general family practice duties. This opportunity offers a consistent schedule in a hospital setting using the Epic EMR system. The locum tenens provider will be responsible for managing a variety of primary care cases, including coughs, colds, sore throats, ear and eye infections, fever, and minor injuries. There is also a possibility for extension.

• Provide care for minor injuries including scrapes, cuts, and minor burnsÂ
• Handle overflow patients from other officesÂ
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient managementÂ
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careÂ
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Additional Information:Â
• Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner with Family Practice specializationÂ
• Active Massachusetts medical license requiredÂ
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
