About The Position
A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located about 30 min from Boston, Massachusetts.
The position offers a flexible four-day workweek, totaling 32 hours with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no call or weekend responsibilities. The provider will manage a caseload of 1520 patients per day and also check on individuals housed in the medical unit for observation. Required certifications include BLS, CPR, and CSR with DEA. Procedures are typical for a correctional setting, including treatment for common illnesses, physicals, and possibly suturing. Credentialing is fast, typically completed within one week.
