Trade Execution Support Specialist

The Opportunity

The Trade Execution Support Specialist will be a member of the MMLIS Trade Desk, supporting Registered Representatives, Clients, and Back Office departments with trade related inquiries, trading platform navigation, and order entry. The ideal candidate is motivated to solve problems – understanding the “why” behind a situation, has a focused attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership. You will have an understanding of trading in general securities and how financial markets work.

The Impact

This role provides guidance to Registered Representatives on various aspects of brokerage trading and is responsible for entering buy and sell orders for equities, bonds, mutual funds, and options, requiring a solid understanding of trading and market operations.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Advises Registered Representatives regarding various aspects of the Brokerage & Advisory trading platforms.

• Enters orders for equities, mutual funds, options, and fixed income.

• Ensures accurate and timely execution of trades across multiple asset classes.

• Monitor and review reports related to brokerage business to meet regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree

• 2+ years of detailed product/trading knowledge of mutual funds, equities and options

• 2+ years of knowledge of brokerage products, trade department policies and provisions, and state and federal laws

• Series 7 and 63 required at time of application OR must obtain within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional FINRA licenses, including Series 24, 4, and 53

• Effective communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Multi-task oriented
