We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Sales Representative to drive business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and support our commitment to delivering high quality products and exceptional service.
What You'll Be Doing
Drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships.
Serve as a trusted advisor by providing technical expertise, product recommendations, and responsive customer support.
Manage commercial activities including pricing, contract negotiations, quotations, and resolution of customer concerns.
Leverage CRM data and market intelligence to track performance, identify growth opportunities, and stay informed on industry and competitor trends.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to achieve business objectives and execute strategic initiatives.
What Are We Looking For
Strong knowledge of the ready mix concrete industry, including operational, commercial, quality, and construction contract requirements.
Proven sales expertise with the ability to prospect, qualify leads, manage the sales cycle, negotiate contracts, and consistently achieve sales targets.
Strategic business acumen with the ability to translate organizational objectives into actionable plans, manage projects, and drive results with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Excellent communication, relationship building, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes across internal and external teams.
Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills, including proficiency with CRM, sales analytics, Microsoft Office, and the ability to leverage data and market insights to support decision making and business growth.
Work Environment
Primarily field based with regular travel to customer locations and Heidelberg Materials sites.
Combination of customer visits, office work, and virtual meetings.
Frequent interaction with customers, operations teams, and business partners.
Use of standard office technology and CRM systems.
Flexibility to work schedules that support customer and business needs.

Work Environment
This role is expected to be in the office, but mostly out in the market, visiting plants, customer offices, job sites, and prospecting future projects.
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment and computer systems; visual acuity required to read, verify, and enter various data from documents related to the work.
Travel within the greater Tacoma area.
Have a valid State Driver’s license with a clean and insurable driving record and be capable of maintaining a clean and insurable driving record.
