Summary:As the Cage Cashier, you play an essential role in supporting the daily operations of the Cage department by accurately processing financial transactions and maintaining control of assigned funds. You contribute to exceptional guest service, regulatory compliance, and the efficient operation of the casino. Your professionalism and attention to detail support both internal departments and external guests in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Accurately perform guest and departmental financial transactions, including check cashing, markers, chip redemption, coin/currency exchange, and voucher redemptions
- Issue and receive funds related to casino operations, including table games, slots, and other internal departments
- Maintain accountability for assigned funds, reconcile balances, and promptly report any discrepancies
- Operate computer systems, coin/currency counters, and cage equipment in accordance with standard procedures
- Complete required forms and documentation accurately and in compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls
- Maintain an organized, clean, and secure workstation at all times
- Support overall team success through effective communication and collaboration with coworkers and leadership
- Provide frontline support for select player club services and basic promotional inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, procedures, and property offerings to accurately support guests and staff
- Held to a high standard of accountability for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of guest information, as well as departmental records and reports, in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a high-volume cash handling environment, preferably in a casino or financial setting
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements
- Occasionally push/pull up to 30lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Occasionally Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist

- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
