Position Summary:

KBI Biopharma is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analytical Scientist to join our Analytical and Formulation Sciences (AFS) team in Boulder, CO. This role is ideal for a PhD-level scientist with deep expertise in protein analytics by LC-MS.聽 You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME), driving innovation and excellence in analytical testing to support integrated client programs from early development through commercialization. This position collaborates cross-functionally with process development, characterization, and regulatory teams.

Responsibilities:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 聽Design and strategically execute analytical experiments in support of biotherapeutics Process Development.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrate expertise in LC-MS, HPLC/UPLC, and other common analytical techniques.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Design and implement analytical strategies to support product development and regulatory submissions.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Generate high-quality documentation suitable for publication and regulatory review.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Act as SME on client programs, providing technical guidance and representing KBI in client interactions.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Mentor and train junior scientists and associates.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform peer reviews of data and reports related to method development, qualification, and validation.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage timelines and resources to meet project milestones.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Advise leadership on program status and technical challenges.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the CCA team.

Requirements:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 B.S. degree and 7 years of related experience; M.S. degree and 5 years of related experience; Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering. Able to react to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned. Adhere to all safety requirements and assure that departmental employees comply with required safety procedures.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong understanding of protein structure, aggregation, and higher-order structure analysis.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proficiency in scientific software and data analysis tools.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Working knowledge of the Process Development functional area with some aptitude in one or more downstream (purification) operations (chromatography, TFF, refold, conjugation) a plus
