We are looking for a versatile software developer who can bridge the gap between high-performance Java applications and low-level hardware interaction. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative, agile environments, enjoys diagnosing complex issues, and is eager to expand their skill set into modern front-end technologies such as TypeScript and React.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 2: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relative experience. Or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.Â
Level 3: Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of relative experience; 3+ years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.Â
Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.
Solid grasp of object-oriented design, performance tuning, and unit testing (JUnit, TestNG).
Experience with Java SE 8 or newer programming.
Understand component-based architecture; able to translate designs into functional UI with Typescript.
Familiarity with version control using Git and workflows on platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Demonstrated success with Agile processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA Security+ Certification.
Experience with Linux.
Experience with RabbitMQ.
Experience with Elasticsearch databases.
STEM degree.
