o Propulsion system heater sizing, design and placement including control sensor locationsÂ
o Battery level thermal analysisÂ
o Battery heater sizing, design and placement including control sensor locationsÂ
o Requirements verificationÂ
• Design/develop thermal environmental tests required to satisfy requirements (in air and/or vacuum)Â
• Support thermal environmental testingÂ
• Write detailed reports for test and analysis activities, presentations to customers and/or program team and developmentÂ
of engineering reports and/or test proceduresÂ
• Review drawings, procedures and engineering orders for completeness, compatibility, producibility, and correctnessÂ
• Communicate the technical and programmatic aspects of a project to the team and customerÂ
• Promote development of a strong team by participating in key aspects of a projectÂ
• Lead small teams (up to five engineers) to design, develop and deliver a thermal control systemÂ
• Work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) design environment with other engineering disciplines such as Systems,Â
Electrical, Project, Production, M&P, Quality and Cryogenic Engineering
Â
• Responsible for meeting program cost, schedule, and technical requirementsÂ
