Summary:As a Count Team Attendant, you are responsible for executing the daily drop and count activities for both gaming and non-gaming revenue areas. Reporting to Count Team leadership, you ensure accurate and secure handling of assets while maintaining strict adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and secure count room environment.
Job Description:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Participate in the execution of drop and count procedures in compliance with Nevada Gaming Control Board regulations and company internal controls.
- Accurately collect, transport, count, and reconcile revenue from gaming and non-gaming sources.
- Complete all required documentation with accuracy and clarity.
- Report discrepancies or irregularities to the Supervisor or Manager promptly.
- Operate and maintain count room equipment, and notify leadership of any needed maintenance.
- Ensure the count room is kept clean, organized, and secure at all times.
- Communicate with other departments, including Cage, Finance, and Security, to support coordinated operations.
- Follow proper procedures to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of count operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a cash handling or count room environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of internal control standards and cash handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Basic computer literacy; familiarity with systems such as CDS, Oasis, or CMS is a plus.
Requirements
- At least 21 Years of Age
- Solid mathematical ability with proficiency in decimals, fractions, and percentages.
- Basic Computer literacy; familiarity with systems such as Konami Synkros is a plus.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements
- Frequently/pull up to 50lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Regularly Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
- Frequently standing and walking
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color
- Use tools and equipment requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color for cash and chip identification.
- Consistent use of vision, hearing, and physical mobility in a high-sensory, fast-paced environment.
