Position Summary:Ā

TheĀ Part Time SalesĀ LeadĀ is an entry-levelĀ leadership role responsible forĀ opening and closing the store,Ā supporting sales performance, delivering exceptional customerĀ experiences, andĀ executingĀ day-to-day storeĀ operations.Ā  ThisĀ Sales LeadĀ supports the Store Manager byĀ followingĀ customer engagementĀ strategiesĀ andĀ maintainingĀ merchandising standards that supportĀ aĀ positive customer experience.Ā KontoorĀ valuesĀ allĀ perspectives and encourages candidates withĀ different backgrounds, experiences, and ways of thinking to apply.Ā

Key Responsibilities:Ā 

Brand Experience/Customer ServiceĀ 

  • Ensure excellence in customer service in the store by upholding high retail standards to ensureĀ an in-store experience that aligns with companyĀ standards.Ā Ā 

  • Initiate conversations with all customers,Ā buildingĀ a relationship to learnĀ interestsĀ andĀ identifyĀ products to suggest.Ā Ā Ā 

  • AssistĀ customerĀ in the fitting room.Ā Ā 

  • RecommendsĀ productĀ thatĀ isĀ aligned with customer needs and preferences through suggestive sellingĀ and encourages the customer to make a purchase.Ā Ā 

  • Builds brand loyalty by promoting the rewards program and achieves weekly loyaltyĀ signĀ up goals.Ā Ā 

  • LearnĀ about new products and trends to better engage customers.Ā Ā 

  • Consistently achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.Ā Ā Ā 

  • Provides information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.Ā 

Visual, Operation, and SafetyĀ 

  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked.Ā Ā 

  • AssistĀ inĀ daily store operations, including opening and closing,Ā freight processing,Ā accurately process transactions, handle cash, andĀ maintainĀ point-of-sale integrity.Ā 

  • Follows company and store policies, procedures, and operational guidelines; communicates concerns to store leadership.Ā Ā Ā 

  • AssignsĀ tasks to team members as directed to support operational needs.Ā Ā 

  • React quickly to all customers and/orĀ employeeĀ injuries and report themĀ immediatelyĀ to theĀ Manager onĀ Duty.Ā 

  • Participates in Loss Prevention Audits, understands andĀ complies withĀ company loss prevention policies to minimize storeĀ shrink.Ā Ā 

LeadershipĀ 

  • Acts as Manager on DutyĀ in the absence of the other members of the leadership team.Ā Ā 

  • Regularly communicates anyĀ employee’sĀ concerns directly to the Store Manager.Ā Ā 

  • AssistsĀ withĀ onboarding andĀ trainingĀ new team members in sales behaviors, customer service expectations, and store procedures.Ā 

  • Addresses customer concerns professionally andĀ in accordance withĀ company guidelines.Ā Ā Ā

Job Requirements:Ā Ā 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.Ā 

  • Retail or customer-facing experience preferred but notĀ required.Ā 

  • ArriveĀ on time for scheduled shifts andĀ workĀ a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.Ā Ā 

  • This role requires a minimum availability ofĀ 30Ā hours per week including one weekend dayĀ and rotating holidays,Ā additionalĀ availability a plus.Ā Ā

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.Ā 

  • Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., cashĀ register, computers, phones, scanners, etc.).Ā 

  • Stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.Ā 

  • Walking and moving toĀ assistĀ customers, retrieve merchandise and recover the store.Ā Ā 

  • Lifting and carrying, ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to push/pull full racks of merchandise for restocking the store.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items from shelves, restock, andĀ maintainĀ store cleanliness.Ā Ā 

  • Manual labor is required occasionally to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.Ā Ā 

  • Vision to accurately read labels,Ā assistĀ customers, and tasks that require attention to detail.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to use fine manipulation, and grasp with hands to sort and organize clothing, ex. place on hangers, folding, organize in color/size order.Ā

  • Pay Range for this position is:   $19.25-$22/hour
