Water Fitness Group Exercise Instructor - Boulder

Overview

The YMCA of Northern Colorado has openings for experienced water fitness instructors and Silver Sneakers water fitness instructors at our YMCA. We want to offer more classes and can be flexible with times. If you are the type of person that builds community wherever you go and you love to teach water exercise - you will fit in well with our talented and diverse team of instructors.

The Y is looking for a Water Fitness Instructor with availability two times per week.

The salary range is $22.00-30.00 per hour based on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness.
• Engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Water exercise certification.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, nationally accredited certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) in group fitness instruction OR YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise within 6 months of hire.
• At least one year of experience teaching group exercise classes preferred.
