Adjunct Instructor, Dental Hygiene Program (Pooled Position, Central Campus)

Job Description Summary

Minimum Education:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field required.  Master’s degree preferred.
• Graduated from a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Prior college teaching experience is preferred. Willingness to complete teaching methodology training.
• The successful candidate must have a background in and current knowledge of clinical dental hygiene procedures, duties, and a commitment to teaching.
• The successful candidate must be willing and able to teach in both the traditional face-to-face and blended (hybrid) format.
• Broward College places special importance on helping under - prepared students achieve academic success.

Minimum Certification:

• Dental Hygiene License with Local anesthesia certification
• Active CPR Certification
