Job Summary:

At GRA Design Studio, we don’t just build; we craft spaces that inspire, innovate, and elevate the human experience. We are seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer with strong production capabilities and high-rise experience to support the execution of complex, design-forward projects.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a hands-on environment, contributing directly to drawing sets, technical documentation, and project development. You will work closely with senior leadership and project managers to bring multi-family and commercial projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Production & Coordination:

  • Prepare and develop construction documents and drawing sets for multi-family, high-rise, and commercial projects.
  • Work closely with project managers and senior staff to translate design concepts into detailed, buildable solutions.
  • Contribute to exterior, interior, and façade detailing with a strong focus on accuracy and constructability.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment across all project documents.
  • Assist in maintaining project schedules, revisions, and documentation standards.
  • Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in an architectural role with a strong focus on production/drafting.
  • High-rise and/or multi-family project experience required.
  • Proficiency in Revit (3+ years required); AutoCAD a plus.
  • Experience working on commercial projects (offices, retail, industrial, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality construction documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Licensure on track or in progress is a plus.
