Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Bowerston - Bowerston, OH 44695Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayPosition Summary The Utility I production worker will be responsible to support the various production functions efficiently and safely within their assigned department. Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:30am - 3:00pm Location: Bowerston, OH Essential Responsibilities Ability to work with wood, wood filler, glue, sandpaper, dust, etc. Assists machine operators ensuring needed supplies and products are available for processing, allowing downtime and challenging goals are met. Ensures feed rate supports machine specs and goals. Assists with loading, processing, and stacking material. Inspects material for defects prior to and after processing. Sands, packages and labels work in process and finished products. Identifies and communicates machine maintenance and/or performance issues to supervisor. Ensures proper guarding and safety devices are functioning and in use. Provides coverage as needed in other areas within or outside of the department. Ensures work areas are maintained in clean and organized fashion. Maintains work pace required to achieve production demands. Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures. May work overtime, alternate shifts and weekends as needed on short notice. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsBasic Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED. Use of proper PPE and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment. Demonstrates basic math, interpersonal, and reasoning skills. Ability to read, understand and conduct written procedures and standard work instructions. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment. Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust. 100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp. 80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception. 50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment. 10%: Working bent at waist, stoop, kneel, crouch, bending or twisting. Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance.
