Compensation: $30.00- $35.00

Bonus: Up to $3,000 and indefinite loan help

Join our NovaCare outpatient orthopedic center in Bowie, Maryland, and become part of a respected clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages and abilities. We are currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team.

 

At NovaCare Bowie, you’ll be supported by a large, collaborative team committed to your professional development. Our structured mentorship program helps ensure a smooth and successful transition from clinical training to licensed practice. Once established with a full caseload, our PTAs typically treat 11–12 patients per day, allowing you to focus on quality over quantity and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

 

NovaCare Bowie is also part of our Select Sports network, which brings together clinicians and leaders who share a passion for sports medicine. This connection enables us to focus on both the treatment and prevention of injuries among active and athletic populations in Prince George’s County.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
