Description

The Ambassador of Maintenance is considered critical to the overall success of our community. The Ambassador of Maintenance is responsible for fostering a sense of community by offering an unparalleled living experience for resident and providing excellence in customer service through; maintaining the physical appearance and upkeep of the community; service resident's day-to-day maintenance needs with respect to their apartment homes; provide corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance throughout the community; ensure safe and satisfactory operation of apartment appliances; perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and floor repairs; assist with apartment turnover preparation; service community equipment, and HVAC systems; and any other duties assigned. 




Requirements

  Required Experience

  • 5+ years maintenance experience in individual HVAC repair and preventative maintenance of individual or central plant equipment, appliance, plumbing and electrical systems and repairs, fire safety equipment and repairs. 
  • Experience in preparation of apartment turnovers and flooring installations; ability to assist and follow instructions in the performance of all maintenance repairs and duties independently, professionally and in a timely manner. 
  • Initiative, motivation, and ability to continue training to develop skills and attain licenses and certifications.
  • Good organizational and time management skills; good interpersonal skills for communications with residents and third party contractors. 
  • CFC - Type 2 may be required. 
  • Valid, active driver's license and reliable vehicle
