Occupational Health Medical Office Assistant / Full Time / Days

The Medical Office Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient care, accurate medical documentation, effective communication, and seamless coordination of services within the healthcare team. The Medical Office Assistant is an onsite position.

Essential Functions

  • Greet patients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional first impression of the practice.
  • Schedule appointments, verify patient information, and manage demographics and insurance documentation in accordance with practice protocols.
  • Execute daily charges, receipts, referrals, and authorizations while maintaining patient records.
  • Maintain patient charts, forms, and supplies, ensuring records are complete, organized, and readily available for clinical and administrative use.
  • Perform basic clinical tasks within competency, support workflow, and complete miscellaneous duties assigned by management.
  • Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
  • Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
