Service Operations Manager, HVAC Growth

Tin Man Heating & Cooling is seeking a strong operational leader to oversee and elevate our HVAC team in Bowling Green, Ohio.

As the HVAC Manager, you will lead the day-to-day service operations of a growing team, ensuring technicians are supported, productive, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing team members, and supporting continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the HVAC team to achieve performance goals and deliver outstanding service.
• Oversee daily operations by setting priorities, removing obstacles, and ensuring efficient execution.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with company leadership to align operational execution with business objectives and growth initiatives.
• Maintain high standards for workmanship, job quality, material usage, and project timelines.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in HVAC service or install.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and achieve measurable results.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience improving processes while developing and motivating team members.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• HVAC service experience preferred but not required.
• Leadership experience in home services or other field-based industries strongly preferred.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site as a hands-on leader in Bowling Green, OH and surrounding service areas.
