Job Description

The Cocoon is seeking part-time Advocacy Support Staff for evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights. These staff assist victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children with advocacy, support, intakes, crisis intervention, enrichment activities and outreach. In addition, they assist with facility and office projects. Minimum of a one year advocacy or relevant experience and ability to work from an empowerment model. Skills serving battered women and children and/or sexual assault survivors, knowledge of domestic and sexual violence and related issues, and communication skills required. Bilingual preferred.
