About the Role
Essity Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Logistics Process Engineer for our manufacturing facility in Bowling Green, KY.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for daily results (DOM items, changeovers, process settings, uptime, waste, safety, quality)
- Develop/train/drive a structured approach to troubleshooting and standardized work practices within the logistics teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and communicate equipment performance using available documentation and facts.
- Develop/standardize/monitor/control process settings and train operators
- Identify/lead/support Continuous Improvement Projects that will improve the long-term productivity of the lines, improve quality, and/or improve safety. Ensure proper prioritization of projects.
- Support the technical trainer/coordinator in providing day-to-day operational training to technicians. (i.e. precise setup, changeover procedures)
- Support the development and implementation of process control systems (SPC, 5S, 4M, preventative and/or predictive maintenance, quick changeover, etc.) that improve quality, production results, and consider the long-term perspective in meeting needs and goals.
- Works with other Process Engineers to ensure standardized control formats (changeover sequencing, critical parameter checks, process settings, etc.)
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree required, in an Engineering or related technical discipline
- 1+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment required, 3+ years preferred.Â
- Computer experience essential, to include Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.Â
- Needs to possess excellent communication, leadership and facilitation skills.Â
- Must be able to multi-task effectively and work in an environment of constant interruptions.Â
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment and to perform a variety of duties without direct supervision.
- Must possess a working knowledge of statistics as it relates to process control.Â
- Advanced structured problem solving skills required.
