Personnel Security Support Specialist

Location: Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota

Clearance: Active Top Secret / SCI

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time, on-site (core hours 0730–1630L Mon–Fri)

Primary Responsibilities

Key Duties

• Independently execute all personnel security functions including indoctrinations/debriefings, SCI folder maintenance, Interim SCI processing, foreign travel/JPAS updates.

• Create/destroy ACS badges, maintain unit badge roster and AFAA MFRs.

• Process/track visit requests, security incident reports, SIF/For Cause files.

• Train unit SSRs and manage annual SCI security awareness program.

• Update/maintain SCIF SOPs/EAPs.

• Serve as liaison with Ellsworth Security Offices, 28 BW/SFS, AFOSI regarding SCIF AF11-007 operations.

• Maintain/dispose of SCI material IAW ICDs/DoD/AF/ACC/SSO guidance.

• Facilitate internal/external inspections and prepare annual reports to ACC/SSO.

• Ensure all training (including SEADs/ICD 704) is completed within required timelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Top Secret / SCI clearance

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a TS/SCI facility + 1 year dedicated personnel security experience (clearance tracking, indoctrinations, etc.)

• Proficiency in DISS/JPAS and related systems

• Strong knowledge of relevant ICDs, DoD, AF, and ACC/SSO personnel security directives

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• U.S. Citizenship required

• Microsoft Office proficiency
