Pay Range and Closing Date
Pay range: $16.71 - $18.98 Plus Weekly Production Bonus
Closing Date: 9/11/26
Basic Job Functions:
- Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstratethe ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards atall times.
- Welding steel structural parts as specified per drawing or print.
- Operating grinder to prepare and finish welds.
- Operating flip rite.
- Operating transfers.
- Operating magnetic drill.
- Full visual inspection of part ensuring all welds are in place and properly applied.
- Effectively communicating with upstream and downstream to address safety, quality and efficiencyissues/concerns.
Minimum Qualifications:
- WQ1 (2G) weld certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Can read and understand weld symbols
- Can use an arc gouger
- Previous crane certification
- Previous experience in material handling
