Our products are crafted by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, and are featured in some of the most respected custom builds in the industry.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Product Designer - CAD - who thrives at the intersection of precision measurement, CAD design, and creativity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming ideas and customer concepts into detailed, production-ready designs using SOLIDWORKS.
You’ll play a key role in designing custom, one-of-a-kind instrument panels for high-end builds and award-winning vehicles—bringing both function and craftsmanship together.
What You’ll Do
- Lead measurement and layout of customer-supplied components to inform design directionÂ
- Create detailed 3D models and drawings in SOLIDWORKS for custom instrument solutionsÂ
- Design components that integrate modern electronics with classic aestheticsÂ
- Collaborate with internal teams to bring designs from concept through productionÂ
- Support prototype development and refinement of custom buildsÂ
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standardsÂ
(Note: This role includes some hands-on collaboration with production, but is primarily focused on design and engineering.)
What You Bring
- Experience with SOLIDWORKS (1+ year minimum) and strong CAD fundamentalsÂ
- Ability to translate measurements and concepts into precise, manufacturable designsÂ
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanshipÂ
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work on custom, one-off projectsÂ
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Team-oriented but comfortable owning individual design workÂ
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to machining, fabrication, or manufacturing environmentsÂ
- Interest in automotive performance, hot rods, or custom buildsÂ
Why This Role Stands Out
- Work on unique, custom designs—not repetitive production workÂ
- See your designs come to life in high-profile, award-winning vehiclesÂ
- Be part of a team that blends engineering precision with craftsmanshipÂ
- Join a company with over a century of performance innovationÂ
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and perform basic physical tasks as needed in a shop environment
