Hematology Oncology Associates was established in Palm Beach County over 35 years ago, and has grown to include 10 Board Certified Hematologist and Oncologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners in 3 convenient locations within our community. Our goals are to provide state of the art cancer treatments with a high level of compassionate care in a warm inviting environment. We also specialize in treatment of coagulation blood disorders, leukemias and other hematologic benign conditions. Job Description:

  • Collect, label, and process blood, urine, and other biological specimens.
  • Perform routine and specialized testing, including CBCs, differential counts, coagulation tests, and other hematologic studies.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Record and analyze test results accurately; communicate critical values to providers promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test results, quality control logs, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure lab tests are conducted in accordance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
  • Assist with inventory control and ordering of lab supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the laboratory space.
