About The Role

As a Housekeeper in our Housekeeping department, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents, guests, and staff. This full-time, hourly position is hands-on and detail-oriented, requiring a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to consistently high standards of cleanliness. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that rooms, common areas, and facilities are maintained according to our quality and safety guidelines. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys creating orderly spaces, and understands how cleanliness contributes to overall comfort and satisfaction.


What You'll Do

  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain guest rooms, resident rooms, and common areas according to established standards and checklists
  • Perform routine housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, mirrors, and fixtures
  • Change linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities as needed
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas
  • Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, bedding, and cleaning products
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the appropriate supervisor or department
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures and guidelines
  • Operate housekeeping equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor cleaners, carts) safely and correctly
  • Organize and maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Respond promptly and courteously to requests from guests, residents, or other staff members
  • Adhere to departmental schedules, priorities, and productivity goals to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to maintain overall facility cleanliness
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times
  • Participate in required training sessions and meetings to stay informed about procedures and best practices


Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not always required
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, checklists, and safety procedures
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • Capability to lift, carry, or move items and equipment, typically up to 25–50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent full-time, hourly schedule, including weekends or holidays as needed
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to use cleaning chemicals and products safely, following all guidelines and training
  • Strong customer service mindset, with a respectful and professional attitude toward guests, residents, and coworkers
  • Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located
