Lodge Housekeeping Rooms Manager


We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and pride-driven Lodge Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping department and ensure our lodge maintains a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for all guests. This hands-on leadership role combines operational responsibilities with direct involvement in daily cleaning tasks, making it ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently. The lodge features 11 rooms, and the supervisor will manage housekeeping operations primarily, with additional support during peak times to ensure high standards are consistently met.


Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for the lodge, ensuring all rooms and common areas are cleaned to high standards

- Lead, motivate, and support housekeeping staff, providing training and guidance as needed

- Develop and maintain cleaning schedules to ensure timely and efficient service

- Conduct quality inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction

- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance

- Collaborate with other lodge departments to coordinate guest services and special requests

- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures

- Handle guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping in a professional and timely manner


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related field

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time

- Physical stamina and ability to perform cleaning tasks

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility to work scheduled hours, including mornings and weekends

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and equipment
