Job DetailsJob Location: Bozeman-MT (WinCO # 160) - Bozeman, MT 59718Salary Range: $22.00 - $23.00 HourlyJob Title: Full-Time Cleaner Employment Type: Full-Time FLSA: Non-Exempt   POSITION SUMMARY The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by performing routine janitorial services at assigned locations. This position ensures all assigned cleaning tasks are completed according to company standards, client expectations, and safety procedures while contributing to a positive and professional work environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES While the following list encompasses the primary duties and responsibilities of the role, the incumbent is also expected to perform other duties as assigned. Cleaning Operations Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and empty trash receptacles. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces according to company standards. Replenish restroom and facility supplies as needed. Follow established cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Report any maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to the supervisor. Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Properly handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals and equipment. Keep emergency exits, eyewash stations, and walkways clear and accessible. Operate cleaning equipment safely and report equipment malfunctions promptly. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Equipment & Facility Care Clean and maintain assigned cleaning equipment after each shift. Drain, clean, and charge equipment as required. Return all tools, equipment, wet floor signs, mop buckets, brooms, and supplies to designated storage areas. Ensure propane tanks are safely returned to the designated storage cage when applicable. Maintain janitorial closets in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition. Reporting & Communication Notify the supervisor of supply shortages, equipment issues, accidents, or facility concerns. Complete assigned checklists and documentation accurately. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding daily assignments and any operational concerns. Participate in walkthroughs with store management when requested.   KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) Assigned cleaning tasks completed accurately and on time. Work areas consistently meet company cleanliness and sanitation standards. Equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly. Janitorial closets remain clean and organized. Safety procedures are consistently followed. Cleaning checklists are completed accurately. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to work night shifts and travel to assigned work locations. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Continually required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, pallet jacks, and other equipment as required. Regular use of a mobile phone for communication and work-related tasks. Hearing and vision sufficient to safely perform job duties. Work is performed in warehouse, retail, grocery, or distribution environments.
