As an HR GENERALIST at Williams, you will be an integral part of the Human Resources team and play a crucial role in the daily human resources functions. This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR processes in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting skilled trades or construction-related businesses is strongly preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and employee paperwork
- Assist with recruitment
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
- Administer benefits and leave requests
- Assist managers with employee relations, coaching, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Help develop and maintain company policies, employee handbook updates, and HR procedures
- Assist with tracking licenses, certifications, and training requirements for field staff
- Handle unemployment claims, HR reporting, and audits as needed
- Foster a professional, accountable, team-oriented workplace culture

WHAT YOU BRING:
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience required
- HR experience in construction preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
