Assist physicians with medical procedures in office. Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. Qualifications include at least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license is needed for travel to the clinics. High school diploma or GED is required and will be required to produce at time of hire. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). Background, drug, and nicotine screenings are required. All offers of employment are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background screening. Various vaccinations including influenza vaccine are required barring approved exemption. FCS is a drug-free workplace and all new hires will be subject to drug/nicotine testing. Medical Marijuana cards are not recognized.
