OpenText is looking for a dynamic and experienced platform product manager to define and deliver our market leading Digital Fax Cloud Platform from OpenText as part of the Digital Experience (DX) Product Team. Your Impact:

 

As a principal leader in the Business Unit, you will join collaborative, fast-paced teams and work cross-functionally to design, build, and GTM with our cloud fax platform to support the OpenText DX Cloud Fax Solutions and the next generation of AI in our Digital Fax offerings. The Principal Product Manager is responsible for definition and execution of the fax product platform strategy, delivery of platform releases, and successfully bringing these to market with optimal commercialization value. This includes gathering client insights, roadmap development, product and pricing strategy, competitive positioning / differentiation, and competitive tracking of the offerings in the marketplace globally.

 

This role reports to the Director, Product Management within the Digital Experience (DX) business unit at OpenText.

What the Role Offers: 

  • Bring deep understanding of the Digital Fax market, vendor and supplier technologies, staying current with buying and competitive trends, identifying, and defining requirements to fill product platform gaps.
  • Evangelize and create buy-in from internal and external stakeholders for platform vision.
  • Translate platform strategy into detailed and appropriate artifacts for agile development.
  • Work with other DX product managers and marketing to develop commercialization and packaging strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Services, Partners, and CloudOps to ensure feedback into the platform roadmap and drive client / stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Work closely with development teams to plan sprints and continuously deliver products of high quality.
  • Evangelize platform to client, field, and industry analysts to build awareness and mindshare when necessary.
  • Work closely with counterparts in the operations, development, support, services, and sales organizations to ensure client success.

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Demonstrable 15+ years of Product Management experience with multiple product/ platform launches under the belt.
  • Experience with platform management with multiple products at varying stages of lifecycle.
  • Experience working with large and complex products at an enterprise level within a large organization.
  • Understanding of agile product management and development practices and willingness to do what it takes to deliver “innovation that moves the needle”.
  • Strong presentation, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Understanding of the Fax and/or Telco ecosystem – both upstream and downstream ideally.
  • Strong understanding of Hyperscalers and AI ecosystems.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to create business plans, communicate verbally and visually and persuasively advocate viewpoints or strategic goals/imperatives.
  • Strong knowledge of AI concepts, with experience with AI feature and commercialization launches.
  • Experience with healthcare and/or financial markets preferred.
  • MBA/ MEng or equivalent preferred.

Salary Range: $153,800.00 - $230,600.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.

California Residents: The pay range above is a reasonable estimate of salary based on pay scale, candidate experience, skills, and education. In addition to the comprehensive benefits noted above, the role may be eligible for bonus or commissions.
