Shift: 8am-6pm
Every other weekend availability required

About the Role
High Point Residence Kankakee is seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN or LPN to join our nursing team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive living and memory care community.

The Nurse will be responsible for assessing resident needs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring changes in condition, and working closely with the care team, residents, and families to support overall health and well-being.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current RN or LPN license in the State of Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in long-term care, supportive living, memory care, or geriatric nursing
  • Experience with electronic health record systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct resident health assessments and monitor changes in condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Document resident care, progress, and responses to interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and team members to support care goals
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for residents
