What your day-to-day looks like:

Receives and processes mail files that will be provided to the plant for production.  Manages incoming files, process accordingly, reviews them for accuracy against Postal analysis software and outputs documents, files and reports that the plant requires for each magazine to be submitted to the USPS. Works with various departments to coordinate the proper output to maintain schedules.  

  

Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Interpret job instructions to perform necessary data and mail preparation production processes.
  • Review job instructions for accuracy and completeness, and if discrepancies are found, facilitate the creation of new instructions with a List Services Representative.
  • Estimate job completion dates and communicate job progress through the relevant production processes. Update production schedule.
  • Evaluate customer input data to generate useable internal house format utilizing custom and third-party software.
  • Generate ancillary paperwork for mailing production processes (bag tags, tray tags, and pallet placards)
  • Adhere to data and mail preparation production standards by following department job aids and utilizing internal quality procedures.
  • Output freight analysis to determine the proper distribution.

What We’re Looking For:  

  • Proficiency in MS office suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to speak and interact through phone calls.
  • Ability to manage personal workload in a busy environment with conflicting demands,
  • Ability to work efficiently as a member of a team. 

It’s a plus if you have:

  • BCC software knowledge is desired.
  • Experience with mail preparation in Presort or similar software is preferred.
  • Prior PostalOne experience is desired.
  • Experience and understanding in pallet preparation for USPS shipping preferred.

Physical Requirements  

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.   
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
